This puts me at serious risk of needing a new computer from punching the screen too damn hard... |

You'll love Ty Andersons blog, ....after Marchand goaded Stamkos into a fight which took Stamkos off the ice for minutes.... What an ass wipe statement. Stammer went after the littler rat for running around the ice like a little jerk |

And there's another who suffers from a severe case of being a complete (frank)ing idiot. There are few things I've enjoyed more watching hockey (Damn being a Leafs fan ) than seeing Orr knock that (frank)er down to the ice. |

Hopefully Shannahan has a plan. He seems to be sticking to whatever he's trying to do there. |

For sure. I've been happy with most of the moves made since he was hired (I loved the move to get rid of Poulin/Loiselle and hire young, intelligent guys with their finger on the pulse in the junior leagues)... I'd like to see Nonis gone soon, and I think that it's a foregone conclusion that Horachek will not be behind the bench next year. I loved the Nylander pick, and this gives me hope that we won't go after Crouse with this year's first.
All we need really is good direction, smart choices and patience, and Shanny certainly seems to be delivering on those so far... |

My opinion it was never Nonis it was always MLSE telling him what to do. |

Possibly. Still, whomever made the decision on Clarkson, Bolland, Letting MacArthur, Kulemin, Grabovski walk for nothing needs to no longer be involved. There has been such horrific mismanagement of assets, and it needs to stop. Thankfully Shanny seems to be doing that... |

I'm still waiting on the inevitable "The Toronto Maple Leafs trade Dion Phaneuf to Columbus for David Clarkson and X Picks." |

I did not know this (from Puck Daddy ):
"Tampa Bay Lightning: Andrei Vasilievsky’s most prized piece of sports memorabilia is a signed photo of Vinny Lecavalier."

I took my 5 year old to the Montreal game, and he was so disappointed because Paquette wasn't playing. He's his favorite player. I guess mostly because the first game i took him to this year, Paquette scored a hattrick |

I agree. JT Brown has more than earned a regular spot in the lineup as has namestnikov in my opinion. Only problem is, I think they brought morrow in specifically for veteran leadership in the playoffs and I worry that they will stick with him. |

His veteran leadership can be heard before and after the game, or through an earpiece from his fantastic vantage point of the game in the pressbox. Or if they really want veteran leadership switch Morrow and Yzerman, I'm sure Stevie Y's natural talent on the ice would allow him to still be a better player than Morrow today. |

Im not arguing that he should play, I'm just saying I have a feeling they will continue to play him. I hope I'm wrong! |

"Hey Morrow, remember what we promised you last summer when you signed with us? Well, slight change of plans. You wont play a minute in the playoffs but we would love it if you could keep the spirit up and provide leadership anyways"
I dont want to see him in the lineup but we probably will. |

Unfortunatley i think cooper likes players like Morrow only cuz he can teach the young guys and fire em up. But they will probably rotate paquette and morrow in the playoffs. |

Yeah its very valuable when you have such a young team as the bolts. An interesting question is where we would have been in the standings if we didnt signed Morrow last summer? |

morrow will be valuable In the playoffs more than any point this season.. most our team has 4 games of playoff experience, he is alright on the 4th line..it's not like he plays enough minutes to damage the team hes pretty good as a 4th liner he does not much harm there..and provides leadership on the bench where its needed as well not just before and after games and no offense but if I was being a healthy scratch I would not want to provide my leadership through an ear piece |
