Read Gooses post. She has been to their games and said him and McDavid are not even on the same line, except maybe some power play time. I just think Strome has been overshadowed by the McEichel hype.

I had seen that post but wasn't sure if it was the same as I knew the pens at times would put malkin/crosby together at times when in need.

But it's nice to have some hope going forward as things are getting close, less panicking!

Haha, well I came across it late one night during the oilers canes stanley cup and fell in love, being from ireland I had no connection with any team, so I just went online and picked a team,

It sucks that most games start at midnight over here, but through uni I sat up watching 90% of all the games live.

And somehow through the last two years I still watch every game, as painful as it is...I am commited! Haha

Or in need of being committed like the rest of us.

Wow. I'm pretty impressed. Hopped on the bandwagon and stayed on all this time in a country with no hockey to speak of, that's actually pretty awesome. I'm an Aston Villa and Man U supporter because of Guzan and Howard. I know nothing about soccer (sorry, football) but every so often if I see them on tv at a bar, I have someone to support haha

Haha, we do have a league in the UK, but once you watch the nhl, you just can't watch that league, shockingly bad/slow.

Most people over here that "watch" hockey just "support" toronto, penguins or red wings, but don't really follow, frustrating at times when I go on rants and nobody has a clue what I'm on about! When is the nhl coming back to Europe? Haha

Absolutely. In this draft, without McDavid or Eichel... Strome, Marner would consistently be 1-2 picks. My best guess, since 2009..this would be my draft, just using the top 2 picks from every year. I'll stick in Marner and Strome.

1. McDavid
2. Tavares
3. Eichel
4. MacKinnon
5. Seguin
6. Hall
7. Ekblad
8. Strome
9. Reinhart
10. Marner
11. Landeskog
12. RNH
13. Hedman
14. Barkov
15. Murray
16. Yakupov

Must be like cricket here. Only Indian/ME guys support it. The rest of us are so confused hahaha

That's a good question. It would seem as this fall is the target. Do you ever go to world cup games?

You can tell your toronto supporters that they're worse than the Sabres. It's pretty much a fact by now.

Irish eh? congrats on the six nations win, caught their game at murrayfield this weekend.

There's a big blackhawks following up north thanks to charlie gardiner (HOFer) Even if it was ages ago they love bragging about it.

I'll be on the Tim Howard bandwagon for the next 25 years. That guy could stop a tank armada. He could probably even stop Tim Murray.

Sadly I haven't been to the world cup games, been a student and never had the money, but now I'm working as an engineer I can start saving, hopefully get to some, closest I will get until I can get a group together to head over to the nhl!

I haven't been around much lately and not going back enough to see if anyone grabbed this from Yahoo the other day, so I'll post it here.

In an article "The Top 5 Teams That Need A Helmet Makeover", this was a suggestion for Buffalo....

Barkov along with Druion and Seth jones should be higher up there. Remember right before the draft people wanted to trade #8, 16 AND Meyers to get in the top 3 and many laughed and thought that was not enough?! Ya glad we didn't make that trade. Still druion and Barkov were considered and still are better prospects than marner, strome Reinhart

I made it 1-2 picks only. It gets really complicated if it's expanded. Feel free to add more.

Drafting is based on potential. So, I don't really think it's fair to judge the 2013 draft for another few years at least.

I'm going to guess Arizona will be much better next year with Domi, Duclair, '15.
