Well IMO the basic structure of the sabres rebuild is better than the oilers.

It is why so many people believe its the end all be all drafting first or second this season. No one believes it will take another 3 years to contend with one of mcdavid or eichel.

I think regardless of those two we are competing for the playoffs annually after next season.

The Tank is strong with this team.

Now the Oilers and Coyotes need to help us out.

The sabres will have a defense with more in place and adding the offensive talent behind it, i like the way things have turned out the last few years.

I think pysyk is gonna blow alot of people away, not visually but simply how much better the team will be with him on the ice.

If you believe the oreilly noise, that would be a nice start.

I expect them to sign a top 4 dman this offseason to add, maybe two.

you need to improve offensively immensely to get there. not saying its out of the question tho
