yeah, 7 million is the going rate for some bumhole scoring 50 points a season who doesn't shoot enough and plays a two way game. Cool. We should probably trade 8 1sts 3 2nds and Grigo and a bunch of other useless poop for him.

We have the Islanders 1st pick Cabby - we would select both studs!

Please include more emoticons in your next end-argument statement. He's garbage. I'll trade Chris Stewart's 2017 2nd and Grigorenko for him. Then I'll sign him to 5 million a year. If either of those conditions are not met, he can go (frank) himself into oblivion.

If we've learned anything from the recent lottery years... the team that gets (frank)ed one year gets paid off in the next. So, hopefully, we're up for some luck.

You are correct but I would rather have McDavid but won't be to pissed if it's Eichel, anything less then the 2nd pick is an Epic Failure.
- SABRES 89

I guess I'm just confident to a fault. I see us finishing either 29th or 30th and I would have no issue with Eichel either. A future top 2 center group of Eichel and Reinhart should get all Sabre fans excited.

I predict they'll finish 30th or 29th but still lose out on McDavid, take Eichel who will turn out to be an "okay" NHLer while McDavid turns into the next Gretzky.

As usual Buffalonians will cry every year he raises the Cup after we lose in the 1st round. Again.

Nolan needs to start Hackett instead of Lindback. Think Murray would tell him he wants to "evaluate" Hackett? Or does he stay out of it. This is too important right now.

Gotta finish in 30th. Period.
29th does not guarantee us one of McEichel...and no way with Hanifin...if that happens where we pick 3rd..trade down to get Marner

From a sports perspective it's what we are.

If I were a betting man I'd bet the house on Eichel.

Advanced warning - ignore trolls

If that scenario plays out, it's guaranteed there will be people here talking poop, but I don't ban people except for certain language and for talking about users rather than hockey.

Someone saying the Sabres suck is not a banable offense

It's not that, it's saying that Eichel will be an okay NHLer. Someone with that much talent and desire to win is probably going to be a pretty special player

I hate referring to it as getting screwed. If we had 80% odds of winning it and lost, that's one thing but the odds are unfavourable to begin with for any team.

I have a bad feeling about tonight. Facing another AHL'er in goal, and Washington coming off a big win against Boston just yesterday. We come away with at least a point tonight....

Just being pessimistic. Most critics say he's going to be very good too. I'd still like McDavid. Obviously...
