The Oilers fan is a joke, he comes on the Sabres blog and complains about me and what I post. Stay on your own blog if you don't like it.

A source tells the Buffalo News that the Dolphins have "lost patience" and plan to move on from transition player Charles Clay.
The Dolphins are reportedly expecting Clay to sign with Buffalo. The Bills have still yet to extend Clay an offer sheet, but are attempting to structure a deal that Miami won't be able to match. There should be more clarity on Clay's situation in the next 48 hours. The Dolphins saved $9.9 million in cap space by trading Mike Wallace, but can afford to move on from Clay after signing Jordan Cameron.

You would think if they wanted him bad enough we would see an offer by now.

The transition tag made it more complicated. They only get one chance to tender an offer the Dolphins won't want to match.

Knowledgable source tells me Dolphins have "lost patience" with and "moved on" from Charles Clay. At moment, Fins expect him to be a Bill.

Tim Graham ‏@ByTimGraham 2m2 minutes ago
Dolphins will keep the transition tag on Charles Clay, so they'll still have final say. But they've apparently turned the page.

I think the Bills and Clay were waiting for Miami to remove transition and/or putting together a contract that Miami can't match and also wouldn't screw the Bills themselves.

And we won absolutely NOTHING with them.

Your point?

I was thinking the same thing when i read it. I believe satan won a cup as the pens 6th best forward, but his best days were probably behind him at that point. i liked all three when they were here. My guess is satan is the only one murray would keep- i think he would have been a second line winger to pot you 30 on a good team- the kind of production you cant ignore for a guy, whether he plays your style or not.

Clay IMO is getting a lot of unwarranted hype. I'm not sure how or when he became this big star to warrant 8 mil

We won NOTHING with Hasek, Drury, Schoenfeld,Martin ,Robert, Horton, Lafontaine, Mogilny, etc....my point is pretty obvious to anyone who can read. Any good team needs SOME skill players, and yes, everyone in the NHL works hard but when you have a skilled 20 year-old who gets yanked after 2 shifts it does NO good to the team trying to tank, NO good to that player's confidence, NO good to his development....and when you out that player in the press while fielding a team with several veterans making tons of money who literally score one goal a month it sends a poopy message.

I don't know enough about the guy except to think he must have some value to be a TE and get a team's transition tag, one step lower than franchise tag, which the Bills didn't even place on Jerry Hughes. I think the Bills think he is a TE who will fit in really well in Greg Roman's offense which needed athletic/skilled TE's in San Fran.

If my point was not clear enough: Nolan rips one of our high prospects in the press for lack of effort while our team has several established NHL players who produce at an alarmingly, historically, low rate as to be comical. It diminishes any trade value he might have if he does not fit in with our plans, and at the same time there are career AHLers getting top minutes. Are u farging kidding me?

I kan rede.

Eye juhst kan't spel.

And I don't care if he can stickhandle through a plate of spaghetti. If he's not going to compete with and go through the likes of Toews, Crosby, Kopitar and the like in game 7 of the finals, then he can rot with all his skill over in the KHL.

I'm sick of mediocrity in this (frank)ing town. Get some winners in here. Screw his skill. I'll take 2 Brad Marchand's over one Daniel Sedin ANY DAY.

My dad is a lifelong, diehard Dolphins fan and, in his opinion, Clay is a top 10 TE in the league. Says he became a favorite and reliable target for Tannehill and his blocking is very reliable. He has the Sunday ticket and watches every game. I'll take his word that we're getting a helluva player.

The Bulls have accomplished incredible things it two years alone. The Sabres are tanking right and the Bills are doing the unthinkable in free agency. Its incredible what has happened to our sports scene and our city.

We might not get guaranteed our guy! But we deserve him!
It's not fair.
Waaaaa!

and I'll retort that way all 15 times. And be sure to remind you in response how embarrassing your team is too. The Oilers have no defence and horribly inconsistent tending. And we still can't catch u for last

" but, but, but..... uve been bad for longer! !!"

Keep the tears comin bud. I'm loving them

a fan of the worst team in the league calling others out for being bad.

this is a joke right? Like you know you have actual talent on your team and you guys are just as embarrassing to watch as the sabres right? only 4 pts behind a team that ices a team that is 3/4ths filled with AHL and 4th line scrubs. The Oilers have been in the basement longer than any other team in the NHL and it aint even close.

Thing is Buffalo is being this bad on purpose, the Oilers just seem good at it year in and year out at the end of the day only 1 team is the winner the other 31 teams lost. Happy with where Buffalo is going, good result today apart from Lindback having a save percentage over .900 WTF!?!?!
