Our #2 is still in juniors. Can't count it yet. No. I'm resigned to the fact that we probably won't get either with that nitwit Nolan trying to win.

ive been dreaming about connor. but Im assuming we finish second or third last and someone other than buffalo wins the lottery and we move down a spot and take hanifin

cbj isn't a great team.

I remember being super impressed with them last year. but outside of an early stretch where they got up early, edm has controlled much of this game. and edm doesn't control the play for stretches against very many teams

And Hanifin is exactly who you need. We don't.

I enjoy watching your games. It's your goaltending that sucks. Why did they trade Petry? He was playing pretty good lately.

well, kinda.

we need immediate help more than anything else.
id seriously bet that mact considers dealing either of the first two picks depending on the package.

we need lots of things.
weve got nuge, draisaitl but weve got nurse, klefbom, marincin too.

but a generational talent like mcdavid or eichel couldn't be passed up on for hanifin.

maybe trade down if someone ponys up a big asset....

he was gonna walk for nothing. he wanted to play in the playoffs apparently. no choice.
his loss made a brutal defence even worse.
add to that no goaltending and its another bottom feeding year.

desperate for klefbom (who is playing great, but someone else needs to step up cause hes getting fed to the wolves right now since petrys gone) and nurse to hurry the eff up. and we need to some how acquire a true top pairing guy.
and a goalie

no ones in edm is complaining that u guys are tanking. no one gives a fuk.
you just wanted an excuse to cry abit in case u don't get mceichel.
its a possibility, deal with it. get over the oiler hate.

the sabres are fuking embarrassing too. maybe the worst forward group ive ever seen.

- hugefemaledog77

To clarify something, we aren't claiming that anyone in Edmonton is complaining... The NHL and the clowns that talk about the league are only commenting on the Sabres, rather than acknowledging that the Oilers and Coyotes are playing the same game.

That's all.

I am not going to tell you the Sabres aren't embarrassing. They are. It's pathetic.

pretty amped. hopefully he can make an impact sooner rather than later.

id imagine most oiler fans are excited about him as u guys are ristolainen.

hes been sent back twice which is only going to help, and while hes shown serious flashes in camp, hes still too erratic.

I hope that we aren't so desperate next year that were forced to play him even if he hasn't truly gotten past the junior nonsense.

Hudson Fasching has 1+1 as Minnesota leads Penn St. 3-0 end 1st. The early output gives Fasching 21 points (10+11) in game #34.

Hmm, 21 pts in 34 games. How does that project to the NHL? 3rd line talent perhaps, maybe off year.

its called were not winning anyway, so why not strip it down, obtain some assets and try and get a generational talent...

I have heard more hate this year, but I just attribute that to the jealousy of other fans of losing teams that are probably gonna miss out on a player like mcdavid

as an oiler fan, I really don't wanna be here. but it is what it is. thick and thin. just so happens the thin happens a lot more often these days

It gets me mad when they talk about the Sabres trading away their players. A bunch of fringe NHL'rs, 4th line UFA's (and one bi-polar Stewart) that are not in the future plans.

They need to play with a lead so the inevitable soft goal from Scrivens doesn't give up the lead.

A couple of things to converse about:

1. BR recently published an article about the most untouchable player on every team. Sam Reinhart was chosen while Girgensons and Kane were considered honorable mentions. Do you agree?

2. If you could choose one of Hall or O'Reilly to pursue this summer, who would you choose?

3. Who do you believe is the most attractive option in FA for the Sabres considering we have to hit the cap floor?

1. Reinhart. If we don't get McEichel, we definitely need him.

2. Hall

3. ? Don't know who will be available.
