Perhaps, but I've really enjoyed how open they've been about it. Cleverly spending money on players that made the team worse, going through 7 different goalies. In such an abysmal year its given me a good laugh and the by product of this has been my friends who are leafs fans female doging about integrity to try and mask their obvious jealousy.

Oh, I love it too. All I'm saying is that you can't intentionally be an bumhole, and expect people not to get mad at you for it. The Sabres deserve the "criticism" they are getting. That doesn't mean they shouldn't be doing what they are doing though.

My whole thing is that it's easier to find a wingman for McEichel, than it is to find two top defensemen that is pretty much necessary to win the cup.

Datsyuk had guys like Bertuzzi, Holmstrom etc.

Kane will probably be excellent. Bogosian is kind of an average 2nd pair guy IMO. Will probably be a good guy to have in the postseason. However he is offensively inept.

It all hinges on Risto and Zads to turn out IMO. If they do, then we are golden. If not, we might be looking for impact defensemen down the road

Nope. I'm not all caught up on what players do once they leave. They are no longer on the Sabres so i don't care. I wish them the best. I'm also not caught up on 'winning' trades. You can lose a trade on paper and still make the best move for your team.

He is not offensively inept. He isn't going to put up points like Myers, but most good defensive defenseman don't.

Don't give up on Risto and Big Z...takes many years to develop...this is year 1.
Pysyk and McCabe will be ready as well to join in. Bogo and Gorges aren't bad when playing the proper slot...so IDK how bad or D will be ... Would definitely like to get a high-end talent when the rest of the talent haas developed ... Kinda the reverse of Yandle and Myers deals...they can be had.. Costly, but out there.

If you win the trade, you improve your team, if you don't chances are you didn't improve. Obviously with or without anyone here we will eventually be better no matter what, we can only go up.

It's all a matter of who is more important to this team. Right now, we can't play defense or score, so you could argue either way. But in 2 years I think we will obviously have a better idea.

It's surprising to me to see McNabb all of the sudden start to play very well. He's been underwhelming for a while
