So did Chip Kelly, until they got DeMarco Murray.

Wait till the dust settles.

- TheSabresTaco

Murray should of stayed with the cowgirls his numbers will go way down and back to him getting injured

This will be a bust signing imo

Week 15 in Chicago 80% completion percentage 29 out of 36 375 yards 3 TDs no picks
Week 8 in Green Bay 84% 27 out of 32 311 yards 3 TDs no picks

He can throw in the elements

He can throw out doors. The dome helps but I think its over stated too much

While he did play at Perdue, he has played at least half of his career games in either a dome or the nice sunny weather of San Diego.

Not sure his 1st choice would be to come play in the cold at his age.

I'm not saying that.

I'm saying when you have a guy that has done more for a franchise than any other player has like Brees has for New Orleans, you give him a choice of where he'd like to go.

I'd guess Buffalo wouldn't be at the top of his list.

He move McCoy because he thought he had a cheaper option in Frank Gore on the way.

He overplayed his hand because Gore backed out. He had no choice but to overpay at that point.

Of teams that need a QB and could be contenders? Manning went to Denver.

A Drew Brees lead Buffalo Bills would put the Bills in the playoffs at the very least. They would compete for the division and with this D they could be considered contenders for sure.

It makes no sense to trade for a 36 year old qb anyhow

right now the o line is still not close to being ready and they are trying to turn this into a run first team

anyone that watched bledsoe's last year should know it wouldn't work

plus there is no way in hell he comes here

At $8.2 million per, DeMarco Murray will make more in Philly than LeSean McCoy ($8 million annually) will make in Buffalo over five years.

It'll be nice next year to see what Larsson (and maybe Grigo ?) could do with a coach that isn't kiscking them in the teeth all the time..
- Pairo11

It's a tough balance between making players "earn" their minutes & putting them in a position they can succeed...
Murray refers to this whenever he talks about Hodgson
Thing is,
Neither of those 3 are gonna end up being a center on any of our top3 lines... So if they wanna play in our top9, they are gonna have to play on the wing.

At some point, I think Hodgson & Grigorenko will get traded

Larsson could for in as a 3rd line winger, but with all the talent we have coming I don't really see us as having a traditional 4th line when we are competing
We could easily see something like
Deslauriers-Larsson-Bailey
That's a lot of talent, tht can play physical, and skate & score

There's gonna be A LOT of competition to get into our top9 in the next couple years
McDavid/Eichel, Reinhart, Girgensons are the 3 centers
Kane, Ennis & Moulson are wingers that seem locked in

So that leaves 3 open spots
Grigorenko, Larsson, Hodgson, Carrier, Baptiste, Bailey, Fasching, Compher, Hurley, Possler, Olofsson, Karabacek...
And I'm probably forgetting a guy or two
We got some great forward depth coming

And that's if we don't bring anyone else in at all

The Eagles have reportedly put G Evan Mathis on the trade block and Jason LaCanfora says the Bills are one of the teams "sniffing around." Should they pull the trigger?
