It hurts that's for sure. Certainly testing our depth and at this point puts more young guys in a playoff-like setting as we go through the stretch-run in high intensity games. I would guess Coop pairs a young D with a vet D on each pairing to help shelter each one a bit since as of now we only have 3 healthy vets in Heds, Stralman, and Garrison. Drouin replaces Palat on the triplets line. Angelidis was emergency recalled from Cuse coupled with Brown returning means we currently only have 12 healthy forwards and 6 healthy d. Witko would be next recall if another D goes down I would think

Anyone know why they chose to call up Angelidis and not Marchessault?

My guess is for the size and physicality. With Paquette out we needed some more hitting and he should slot in on the 4th line, bump Brown to the 3rd line, and Drouin to 2nd line.

After looking into it I'm assuming its because he's more of a tough guy...

For what? Sure the chances of getting 1st now are diminished but this team has faced adversity with injuries of a much more severe nature and always seems to rally.

I saw Palats injury when he blocked the shot never saw what happened to Paquette or Coburn ? I figured if anyone was to get hurt it would have been Bish being run by Gallagher.

Better now than in mid April, we will survive , it's called depth and this team has plenty.

Cmon Pasternak never intended to do anything but direct that in with his skate. His stick wasn't even on the ice.

Directing isn't kicking and as much as I hate to see it, it counts.
