I'd start whoever has a better training camp and preseason. Which will most likely be Cassel. Cassel isn't terrible and I think he is a upgrade of Orton. Not much but a little bit.

I'd start Cassel over EJ but that's me
- SABRES 89

I'd wait for them to go through training camp and pre-season before I make that decision. If EJ is coached right, I can see him as a 3500y 20td/10int player with about 350 on the ground and a few rushing TDs.

Cassel, I see as about the same, without the rushing yards, more sacks and a higher TD/INT total.

Either could start in my eyes but I'd wait until August to make the decision.

With a good O line i think both have the chance to get enough points to win us games with an elite D.

Ej will be as good if not better than kapernick. Don't understand why no on wants to give him a chance. Before he was drafted, he was as good as Russell Wilson and better than kapernick when tested. I would like to see him get the support of the fans and see what he can do with some good support. He was pulled too early last year, but hopefully learned a lot. Our offense was completely impotent last year regardless of who was the qb.

WGR is so worried about PHX when Edmonton is the professionals at tanking... I really thought we would be able to start getting comfortable but nope. I fear we will win against Toronto
- Smittyx36

Wow, Toronto really called it quits in a big way this year. What a (frank)ing joke that team is. Cananada should be embarrassed. I'm worried they might try to score on themselves in order to screw us over.

If it weren't for that winning streak, we'd be comfortably 30th. Useless streak.

And for some motivational words for the Coyotes... No masterpiece was ever created by a lazy artist! Don't be lazy Arizona. Its time to win some games!!

I'm on the fence about him. That Pittsburgh game his 1st season was god awful, he looked horrid and the Texans game last year was a close 2nd. I haven't really seen a great game out of him, but he's looked more than competent on a few occasions and has similar stats through his first 15 games to that of Brees, Rodgers and a few others so I say if he wins the job by an inch, you start him.

I always hear people say you can't fix inaccuracy. Which is just flat out not true.

He played all 16 his first year and last season he only missed two. It was that middle season he was out a lot. He is only gonna get better with rex as HC. He will be talked about as a shutdown corner like the other big names this season IMO.
- Smittyx36

I was not a fan early in his career but this past year he stepped it up. At the very least he looks to be a consistently "good" starter which is all I can ask for.

If the Coyotes can hold off the Preds for another 56 minutes, they'll bank themselves a point...

Really? Is that all?

4-1 Preds.....

Nashville is due for a big win and AZ wants to lose. Not a good combination. Oh......and their goalie is worse than everything we have.

On this sucky team which scores goals at a frighteningly low pace, to keep your most skilled prospect in a constant stat of upheaval and not playing regular shifts is a disgrace. "Hard to play against" is such a load of garbage. I want to puke when reading our coach talk about it when we have multi-million dollar established pros scoring one goal a month and career AHLers are getting prime time while our future prospects get the message that THEY have to produce or ride the bench. Dis-farging-graceful.

you need to add in murray...he has been mentioning that from the get-go

The Hockey News' 10 Greatest All Time:

Wayne Gretzky - not "hard to play against"
Bobby Orr - not "hard to play against"
Gordie Howe
Mario Lemieux -not "hard to play against"
Maurice Richard
Doug Harvey - not "hard to play against"
Jean Beliveau -not "hard to play against"
Bobby Hull - not "hard to play against"
Terry Sawchuk - Goalie
Eddie Shore. ??

A team has to be "hard to play against" -not every player on the team.

- Der Kaiser

all could score and did so...marcel Dionne wasn't hard to play against either...he scored...and he played on some pretty bad kings teams...

imo, they all showed one thing we haven't seen from Grigorenko yet--desire

I like it.

These last 16 or so games are going to be the most nerve-wracking in the history of this franchise, save for the Stanley Cup finals.

I believe in the Sabre suckiness, as presently constituted. Although, losing Mez is a tough one. Lindback and the Mak-daddy ought to take care of business between the pipes.
