dont get me wrong, back then I was hoping it would be Patrick eeee Roy...but Therien still took this team ( an average one I believe, ok with a great goalie but still) to the first position in the East..

He must do some things right... can't be all bad !

I guess people hve a short memory
Sekac always battled hard in the corners finished his checks
And won a lot of his one-on-one battles
Therrien destroyed his confidence
Never got ice time with the few talented forwards montreal has
Not easy getting points when u get no pp time have eller as your center and are on the ice with emelin weaver or gilbert

Dsp just for the sheer fact he is in poor shape, is 15?pounds overweight and is a poor skater on team whose main identity is speed, makes it a very questionable trade

Time will tell i guess but looks at best like one of MANY four quarters for a dollar trades that MB had gotten us used to

- Paulg

Maybe we could get him back for Price

well our ES Corsi is only 48.5. frankly i am expecting the NHL to bar Montreal from the playoffs. i also expect the 86 and 93 Cups to be stripped and handed to Calgary and LA (or maybe Toronto).

Perfect outcome for me. I'd choose Habs over Kings in a Cup Final but right now the Kings need the points more than Habs.

Bergevin seems like a smart guy but starting to doubt some moves. Ellers contract is disguisting and what the (frank) is up with that sekac trade? Jiri has all world potential and just trade him for a block of concrete? Because michael don't like him?

Well get this Bergevin, I don't like Michael either. Or wait, he's awesome. Sure knows how to play the right goalie doesn't he? Guy Boucher please..

Petry move was good though. Flynn and Mitchell is just depth. With Flynn having the potential to be something more. Didn't give up much, good job.

But what an awful feeling in that dressing room when they don't acquire
Some scoring help. If I'm carey price I'd tell him straight where to go. Way to reward your goaltender boys.. Thanks for all the 2-1 win carey.... Keep doing it

So awesome but Habs players are not allowed to do this, Therrien wouldn't allow it
