It was good the first time I listen to it. Now it's just annoying as hell.

Good Lord man.

Epic struggle to put the puck in the net...all year long. That's what I'm getting at. How much more difficult is it to score in the playoffs? We rely so heavily on Patches as our offensive force...now think about his playoff performances. Not concerned?

It would have been nice to pick up some offense at the deadline

Offense wins games ... Defense wins championships.

Ask Ovie in Washington ... or Kessel in Toronto.

7 players over 40 pts isn't bad.

The DLR line seems made for the playoffs.

All depends on how many games Price can steal, and how long can Subban carry the offence.

I trust that MB couldn't get what he wanted at his price. We've seen it before. Better to be defensively responsible than a run and gun. Does it translate to Stanley Cup. I don't think so, I think there are more well rounded teams, but throw some luck in and a hot goalie and who knows.

Agreed ... we are missing a few pieces to win the big prize but we should logically have a good run in the playoffs this year.

It's not simply one or the other....you need a combo of everything. Niemi & Crawford are christ in net right? Or Osgood? How bout MAF?....yikes. Even with Roy you still had quality in front. Same with brodeur. All defence with a Forsberg/Sakic/Hejduk, or a Fedorov/Yzerman/Shannahan. Or was it all defence for a Toews/Kane/Hossa? Maybe for a Kopitar/Gaborik/Carter/Doughty? What about Neidermyer/Nieuwendyk/Elias?

Hard to say how it falls out. I like their chances against teams like TB and Det 50-50., they've owned Boston but I could see them choking against the Sens, they are to the habs like the Habs are to the Bs
