They are hoping he can turn it around and have great playoffs.

I have to say, the fact he needs constant pats in the back to get out of these funks irritates me.

Will he suddenly become a better offensive player with a good vision of the play and passing skills? By magic?
The guy had a great playoff run, not sure why, how long will he live on it?
The problem here is not a lack of effort, it's a lack of talent. Period.
And that's not counting his confidence issues.
