And how much do you think MacKinnon is worth in that case? He's underperformed this year and will make around 5 once his rookie deal is over.

Edit: Maybe 5 is a tad low but unless he lights it up next year he isn't going to get 7x7.

I said earlier, it would be asinine of Colorado to not want a D prospect/player back in a deal for ROR, but they could still trade for Ennis, Freakorenko and a D while freeing up cap and not resigning Briere and Tanguay once their contracts are up and get a couple more D in FA and be fine.

We don't really have a big time college hockey program. Canisuis and Niagara have well respected programs, but they don't have community wide support. Most people just follow them through the 11 O'clock news. Even with Harbor center, I really can't see Canisuis taking off to becoming a destination event in buffalo. UB has a good ACHA team(who is at the nationals as we speak), but they will never have a big time venue.
