Yes, just not a QB, but free agent QBs are terrible this season anyway. 16mil can go a long way if used cleverly.
- SolidGoldBricks

We have to get a QB, without a doubt.

Tough this year, but next year there are quite a few.

Actually, we really didn't, we could have drafted a rb in later rounds also to compliment the 3 headed monster we already have.(draft is deep at the RB position this year)
It's just the opposite really with Fred Jackson, Boobie Dixon and Bryce Brown.
Now we certainly need to sign a inside linebacker and I would bet my life it will be free agent 31 year old inside backer from the Jets David Harris.
If Rex plans on using more 3/4 defense than 4/3 in his hybrid scheme we will need much more depth at the linebacker position, and I do not believe Spikes will be re-signed for the middle, I think Rex wants his old Jet player.

- BuffaloHardHat

So if they don't sign him, then what? you become an Indentured servant to Rex?

None of this "3 headed Monster" have the ability of McCoy.

Freddie is old and can not handle the every down thing anymore (but still can be effective if used properly)

Boobie is a special teamer

Brown can't hold onto the ball

They had a plethora of lb's and did just fine without Kiko.

His cap hit will be about $9 million after the restructure his deal. With cuts and after the $4 million or so to sign the draft picks they should have about $16 million to work with
- Stripes77

I'd like :
C - Wisniewski and Woods moved to guard especially with all the weight Woods has lost. Have Incognito and Woods as our new guards.
QB - Moore
TE - Gresham

Going to be tight (cap wise) if they sign my free agent wish list, especially after they sign free agent ILB David Harris.

As in Matt I've only attempted 29 passes in the last 3 years Moore?

Serious question.

I know you have wanted to move woods to guard for some time. I don't know if I like that move or not. There are some good guards that are FAs...

My guess is Harris is signed, Locker or Sanchez is signed, a guard is signed and Gresham might be correct as well

We...did. Bradham and Brown did pretty well without Alonso last year. It's a non issue losing him, as a depth perspective.

Boobie is not a special teamer, he did have 105 carries last year with 432 yards and 4.1 ypc average.

Freddie is still a 2 down back and is excellent on third down passing situations to pick up the blitz.

Bryce Brown could have been a very nice 3rd down back and change of pace back as we had seen last season.

Draft is the deepest its been in recent years at the RB position. There was one to be had in the later rounds.

No, none of them are McCoy but we certainly are not weak at that position.

Also, we do not have a plethora have LB's.

Bradham, Nigel
Brown, Preston
Johnson, Randell
Powell, Ty

There is your plethora.

It is not a position of strength , as a matter of fact it is very far from that.

I keep saying WoodS when its Wood.
I think he got blown up quite a bit last year and he was one of the reasons we could not run up the middle on short yardage after he started playing at a lighter weight.
I think he would be an ideal pulling guard with Incognito.
I know everyone wants Mike Iupati and I guess I would be okay with that too.

The Bills were 25th in total rushing yards last season.

McCoy had almost as many yards on the ground as the Bills 1319-1482

It was a position of weakness.

I'm not sure about Crouse at #3, largely unimpressive in the WJs IMO.
