People don't realize how astronomical the costs really are nowadays. The frustrating part is that they show no signs of going down or even staying stagnant.

I can't even imagine how much it costs now. I graduated in 2006. My last semester was just 1 class though. Just couldn't squeeze it in earlier and work the 40+ hours that I was to support myself.

I took 20 credit hours one semester at ECC and I thought I was going to die. Decided doing something like that again was a bad idea so I sucked it up and paid for 1 class in the spring.

From his first day as the Bills head coach, Rex Ryan was looking to trade linebacker Kiko Alonso, according to a report from NFL.com's Ian Rapoport.

One of the first things Ryan wanted to do with the Bills, the report states, was trade Alonso. On Tuesday, CBSSports.com NFL Insider Jason La Canfora confirmed the Eagles and Bills had a plan in place to swap Alonso for running back LeSean McCoy. ESPN's Adam Schefter first reported the story.

It's a strange revelation considering Alonso's stellar 2013 season as a rookie, when he totaled 159 tackles and four interceptions. However, he's coming off of an ACL tear that was sustained last offseason.

Without Alonso in 2014, the Bills were still able to finish fourth in the NFL in yards allowed per game at 312.2 per game.

Yes. They gave up a 5th and got back a 6th. And they get Cassel for next year's 7th
- Pierceme69

Or they got Cassel for a 5th and a 6th round pick for a 7th?

Easy to work it around to make it look how you want

If this is true, I don't blame Nolan. If you know you are on your way out, you don't really give two poops about the team's future, and nor should you really. He's in it for his own job, and possibly getting another one in the future. This is why I was against hiring him from the outset. While it's true he had to know what he was getting into, I can't for the life of me understand why you would hire a head coach where both parties knew he was nothing but a stopgap. To assume he wouldn't act in his own self-interest seems pretty naive to me.
- buffalofan19

Maybe the guy Murray really wanted to hire was still under contract and decided just to give Nolan a shot at it, see how he does. I'm still of the opinion though that he gets fired after the season and Murray will get the guy he wants.

hahaha, I saw that movie in theaters, and then about 2 months ago I was hunting for it on Redbox, frustrated because it was out a couple times I went to look...When I finally rented it, I realized I had seen it before.

College, long ago, turned from being about education to being a business.

That is bad news for all students.

I enjoy it, definitely. Some of the scene transitions are very annoying though when seeing it more than once.

Just got back home from hanging with my buddy. He said he had heard we did inquire about O'Reilly during the deadline and a deal involving Grigorenko and one of our 2nds was tabled but Murray didn't want to bring him here during this season. He thinks the deal did involve something else from both sides but didn't know what exactly those were. In his opinion he thinks the deal was preset for around the draft and will be finalized around then. I asked him what his best guess would be as to what the other pieces were and he said he knows from the past that Colorado is high on Ennis and wouldn't be surprised if the whole trade was something like:

To Buffalo
Ryan O'Reilly
Nick Holden
2015/2016 1st (only one of them not both)

To Colorado
Mikhail Grigorenko
Tyler Ennis
2015 2nd

Keep in mind that over the years I have known him he is very hit or miss. The only things I can absolutely say 100% he got right was Ehrhoff being bought out and Bogosian being in the Kane deal. He has gotten trades to certain teams right a lot but not always the correct players and picks, but he seemed very confident about this which is not normally how he is when we discuss his limited "insider" info. He told me as well, that what we are hearing about Brendan Lemieux is correct. He was not going to sign here and was apparently planning on re-entering the draft. He also said Murray is absolutely LIVID with Nolan regarding player choices. He was very vocal about Neuvirth not being ridden after Enroth was traded and Nolan did it anyway. Said that Murray was really wanting to keep Neuvirth around and try and resign him but by Nolan continually playing him and endangering the coming draft he had no choice but to trade him away for "Peanuts compared to what he felt he was worth."
Again grain of salt please, I am not saying he is a perfect "source" but its nice to have at least a little something.

Thanks for the info. I'm really on the fence on this one and the pieces for this trade make some sense but it doesn't address the Av's real need which is D. We might have to part with Pysyk or McCabe in the deal which I would hate.

I would rather not trade for ROR. I like the player, but not the cost to get him. If we are trading assets of that caliber I'd rather try to get a player like Taylor Hall.

I feel like we already have a guy with a really similar skill set in Girgensons. So to me, it seems kind of redundant. It would be nice to have a guy that can win a faceoff though.

It seems Murray is intent on doing a deal for him. I'm certainly 50/50 on this and a trade shouldn't be made unless we got his signature on an extension. I wouldn't mind their 2015 1st, we could draft Provorov or Werenski there and if we have to move McCabe as part of that, I guess I'd be ok with that.

That trade is one I'd have a harder time feeling good about than the Kane/Myers deal.

That would be the biggest key in any deal for him for me too, mhp. Even if it meant some high cost, I just wouldn't want them to trade for him and he get to Free Agency as a Sabre

I would have to agree. If Murray wants to move some of Darcy's players and shape his own roster, I don't blame him for that but not too crazy about moving Ennis in this deal.

And if we trade for ROR our center group will be McEichel, Reinhart and ROR? That doesn't seem to make sense either. No way Reinhart is a 3C in this equation. Maybe Murray will make an offer to the Av's at the draft for ROR if we lose out on McEichel. That would make more sense to me. And I wouldn't trade much for him if he isn't extended.

Another reason a draft day trade is risky because I think you can't re-sign him to an extension till after July 1st. I could be wrong on that though.

So he plays both C and RW? I thought he was primarily a C.
