quick question...could Florida still trade for Reimer or Bernier now, even after deadline, for use up to the play-offs?

The only person that should be blamed is TSN, end of story. They aired it, their fault. Easily could of avoided this whole situation by not airing it live
- DougGilmour_93

Wrong. By Tweeting it with the attached hashtag, the kid accepted the responsibility that TSN might put it on air, as that is what the hashtag was being used for. If you want proof of how a tweet can go viral, even before being picked up on by the media, just look at the whole "dress colour" fiasco from last week...

The media aren't only being critical based on play/results - which is the only thing they are paid to comment on.
Kessel had some of the highest fitness testing scores in training camp. "He is out of shape and fat." According to what measure? "
Phaneuf is the Leafs captain - why is he wearing a Red Bull hat after games for interviews? Our lines are open..."
You seriously can't acknowledge it's gone overboard in this market? In your heart of hearts you really believe it's just about Kessel thinking people are mean to him and his friends?

When a Montreal Canadien says that it has gone too far, it's probably gone too far.

Yes. They couldn't play in the playoffs though.

yes... any player involved in the deal would not be eligible for playoff play however.

If it doesn't get on TSN, or Dion/Elisha/Lupul don't sue, none of us are talking about this.

And really, we shouldn't be talking about this.

- BINGO!

Still besides the point...

Tree falls and no one hears it, does it make a sound? He runs his mouth enough times, eventually someone will hear it...someone who takes his time to post things like that are clearly looking for attention. Make an accusation about two people's personal lives, online, you're going to get a reaction. Now you have to deal with it.

Since the Pittsburgh draft pick to get Crosby, i've always thought in the back of my mind that it's rigged. Of course a team thats on a verge of going bankrupt gets the best player - and has been compared to Gretzky for years before his draft year...

He single handedly saved Pittsburgh....

- Delryk

wasn't Pittsburg the reason they started the lottery? I think it was because of how bad they tanked to get Mario. If Arizona and Buffalo end up with the top 2 then the fix is in.

he should sue
- Dozzer

To paraphrase what Patrick Sharp said recently: "If they attack you for your on ice play, or your conduct with the team, you accept it, that's what you're paid for. If they attack you personally, then that is crossing the line..."

So why hire a guy to filter tweets in the first place?
- jps7878

That person just made a terrible mistake (it was certainly a miss). There is no way that the person saw that one ( I would hope ).

Basically his production is on the decline, and some people around the game (bruins folks I'd imagine) say he's a miserable a hole.... Kinda wondered why he was picked last, he could be a dingus....

If memory serves correctly, the lottery came in following the quest for Daigle.

Anyone see the hockey news article on Phil?.. It's long, and not so nice...

Not really...

Buddy tweeted, on social media, looking for a social response. Well, turns out he got a bigger one than he hoped for, but he still defended his decision as "who cares what I say, I'm no one" (essentially). If you're not prepared to deal with what comes from the things that you publicly state, then don't tweet poop like that in the first place.

- Colin Dambrauskas

Lots of people have mentioned that statement on twitter, might as well sue them all then because you wont win in the end

They're both being held accountable.... one for the tweet, one for negligence.

Not sure how you came to that conclusion from what I offered...I made no mention of TSN. Because TSN happened to air it, regardless of it being a miss or intentional, they too are accountable, clearly.

i am guessing the will look at luongo's bruise.. and realize that Dan Ellis of the Rampage will tide the team over.
