the pro-Reimer folks always point to the fact that James led us to the playoffs etc.. I think if that was a full season we don't make that plyaoffs. We ended year right about the time the 2nd half swoon would have happened.. I truly think James is a very good backup goalie for a good team..

Kessel is 48th in PPG this season... 22nd last year... 12th 2 years ago... 11th 2011...

So he has been declining in production in terms of how it relates to the rest of the league in PPG... Not to slight the guy, just wanted to find out...

Kessel is easily still a point a game player (he was better than ppg before horacek came along). He is having an off year, but thats still gonna be about 30 goals 65 points.
