For the players though the media has to be sickening! You have shows like Leafs Breakfast, Leafs Lunch, Leafs Dinner, Leafs bedtime snack, Hockey Central which is 80% Leafs talk, Tim & Sid which is 70% Leafs talk, then the show with the older gentleman who wears sunglasses in the studio, that's 75% Leafs talk, and the constant bombarding of media before & after every game and during practices. That's an awful lot of coverage for one damn non succesful hockey team! |

I ve said before and I ll say it again. What would it be like if the if the fans and media were supported of the team instead of ragging on them constantly. Maybe the culture change needed is the fan base.

Now we blame the fanbase for their ineptitude? I don't recall any of the moves being made, because fans demanded it. If so, they would have tanked a few years back and we'd be watching a respectable product on the ice. I hope they keep littering the ice, with their cheap, made in China, knockoff Jerseys. The one's the NHL and MLS&blow-me make no money off of. |

Kessel is 48th in PPG this season... 22nd last year... 12th 2 years ago... 11th 2011...
So he has been declining in production in terms of how it relates to the rest of the league in PPG... Not to slight the guy, just wanted to find out...

i agree with 1 minor change.
for the most part, most knowledgable fans wont/dont listen to the media. but the media never quotes them. they feed the sheeple, then quote the sheeple calling those sheeple the "fan base" |

Because management doesn't know how to put a cohesive team on the ice? How many years, since we've had a number one centre? A number 1 defenseman? A goaltender in the top 10? How many coaches has Phil/Dion/Tyler and JVR had, since coming to Toronto? How many GM's? It's not the fanbase....it's Leafs management, scouting and unstable ownership.
