any one of us could make a site and toss out some bogus rumors and have none of them ever happen, and then just report trades as we hear them form reputable sources (sources we ALL have access to)

i come here literally for Bill Meltzer and to read comments from posters who tear Ek apart for his fake rumors and "sources".

he's feeding on the one weakness we all have: we just wanna talk hockey. there are no "sources". none of these "rumors" will ever come true. and yet we all come back..

I love how the Habs not picking up a back up makes them a deadline day question mark.
The fact that they have a guy who has played throughout the season in Tokarski (as opposed to a guy that hadn't played in a month when he was called into action last playoffs) is not enough to give them confidence going into the playoffs.
Let's not even touch on the fact that if they had acquired Neuvirth (or any other back up) for Price they would have to do something with Tokarski, and he would need to clear waivers to be sent down. Not gonna happen.
Are the Habs a lock for the cup? nope. Are they a stronger team than last season? I think so.
