Vinny hasn't looked great lately again. I know he sees limited ice time but when he is out there I just don't see much. I feel for as little as Vandevelde and Bellemare are out there they still make an impression.

I wonder if Hitch gets let go if they don't get further than the 1st round of the playoffs.

It would be easier to list who played well last night

(please insert the sound of chirping crickets)

- BiggE

You know who played well last night?
TJ Brodie.

Every time the puck carrier came into his side of the ice, Calgary usually ended up getting the puck back. Watching him play against Voracek was a pretty epic battle.

That kid is going to be great. Maybe already is there, I need to watch more Calgary games.

He wasn't very good last night. That line as a whole wasn't very good.

Pretty good player. I think he was a 4th round pick also.

The Legend of Clooney goes back further than that.

He was on "Facts of Life":

No way, Umberger schooled him with that suckerpunch. He showed that upstart defenseman what's what. What else do you want RJ to do, score?

Any GM that offered that deal is a fool, imho. Giroux is a bonafide proven superstar. A #1 draft pick is nothing but potential. A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.

Yep, we've pretty much been asking for it for a while now. Someone/something will eventually take us up on our dare.

Signed a 5 yr deal for 2+m per year in 2014 and is only 24.
4th round pick.

What great value for the Flames.

I don't disagree there, the other poster wanted to throw in both of our 1st round picks too...You would have to get more back then just the #1 overall...

My comment was that if Hexy lost his mind and said to a team I will give you G for your #1 pick, they would be insane not to immediately say yes...

Oh yes, the recipient of that offer should say yes and charter a plane to pick him up before the offerer regains consciousness.

True, but he don't play....

Perhaps it is the overall franchise philosophy on talent evaluation. How do you measure heart and pride?
