I dont think it was Amac's fault there. Del Zotto and Mason for me... on that play. I am blaming our offensive go to guys for coming up small in the most important time of the season. All these games could've and should've been won and Giroux, Voracek, Couts, Schenn, Read have all come up small for the most part. Thats why we are currently 5 pts out and wont make the playoffs.
- GOA88

No doubt, I thought Voracek and Giroux played an okay game, but they need to be better down this stretch if the Flyers have any chance of making the playoffs.

The replay speaks for itself.

I think both D are at fault. AMac got beat to the outside and MDZ could not tie up his guy in front.
AMac didn't play well last night but he wasn't the only one.
B Schenn was he dressed?

Hamburglar.. Well... I will just leave that one

Cracks me up. It's 4 on 4 hockey and there is a lot of room out there. MacDonald kept his angle and kept his man to the outside, no differently then Nick Schultz did on the 2nd Calgary goal. Hudler the goal scorer is Del Zotto's check. Not only is Del Zotto directly in front of Hudler, and fails to tie up his stick, or block the shot, Brayden Schenn is directly behind and does nothing. Hudler was surrounded by 3 Flyers and got off a shot in the slot, and MacDonald gets criticized. Pretty funny.
- MJL

Keep up your blind defense of MacDonald. You are an army of one who thinks the guy is any good.

Remember two years ago, how you continually beat the L. Schenn is a solid second pairing dman garbage...... Well that went the way of the Edsel didn't it?

It would be easier to list who played well last night

AMac got torched.
Del Zotto got burned.
Mason got lit up.

The Flyers were flamed.

Honestly Voracek is doing his best but he's been on an island out there. No help. Trying to to do it all himself. Giroux has been disappointing all season offensively, IMO. He is almost useless 5 on 5.

MacDonald didn't get beat, his job there is to keep the player to the outside and away from the net. At most you could argue that he didn't knock down the pass, he made an attempt at it with his stick but missed. Del Zotto and B Schenn's effort there was just plain weak.

Trade Giroux for the #1 overall pick and select McDavid.

I was a big fan of MDZ's Bobby Orr impression last night. Sadly, Bobby Orr didn't usually turn the puck over at the red line as the (second to) last man back while his partner went off for a lazy change.

Not as exhausting as engaging him in conversation. Look at the last blog. 4 pages of self-flagellation and arguing semantics.

It would have been great if he had beaten one more player! That's the kind of play that has got him benched early in the year. My view, is Del Zotto had a bad game. It's going to happen on occasion. It's one game and he's been very good for the Flyers. Just needs to have a short memory and come back on Thursday.

Pretty common for him. Won't admit being incorrect, either, just plays it off.

Irrelevant to the conversation. AMac wasn't at fault on the goal.

MDZ was not good last night. Don't think Schultz, MacDonald or Streit stood out as good, throughout the game and Mason was not sharp.

MDZ's bad turnover & high stick were definitely not good, though

No doubt.
The list of Flyers who played well last night is about the same length as the list of real musicians who appreciate Kanye West.

I didn't fault him on the goal, said he looked bad on the play. That's one Mason should have stopped. MDZ also was bad. I mentioned AMac specifically to troll.
