The contract term he's going to get is concerning at his age. He's been damned good this year, I don't think he's a #1 dman, but I think he can handle top pairing minutes and situations. I guess we're splitting hairs though.

Agree with you there. Lurch can definitely erase his partners mistakes.

Add Boychuck and keep MacDonald, and it looks even better in my opinion.

the market sucks. teams want them. and there will be paying through the nose.

you typically always overpay in FA. if the player works out, you sort of just accept it as the cost of bringing in outside help.
