Something I had not thought of is topps stopped production of hockey cards for 82/83 and 83/84. They stepped up production for 84/85(Stevie Y and LaFontaine rookie year) which in the grand scheme of thing aren't that valuable.

Just curious. Are those 'book' values, asking price on not yet sold ebay cards, or actual selling prices on ebay? To me, the only value that matters is the selling price.

No tens for either and there are more 8-9.5 for the Lemieux by a lot (797-456)but again that has to do with the blue boarder on the Gretzky.

A 7 grade Gretzky has a $600 value (398 have this grade).
A 7 Lemieux has an$80 value (174 have this grade).

Oh my. I'd sign Jagr, ideally, even though I'm 99% certain he wants nothing to do with Buffalo.. but not to play on the top line. St Louis, if he even gets free of Rags and for some insane reason he wants to move to a rebuilding team, yeah, I'd do that and trade for a RW in 2016.
