His 3.71 GAA this year indicates that he gives up less than 4 goals per game.

Come on Jr....

He had some of the best games under some mediocre teams.

I wonder if there is a stat that tracked odd man rushes and saves because I have never seen a team give up so many 2 on 1, 3 on 1, 2 on 0, and even the famous 3 on 0.

Outta be fun when we begin winning to watch Bucky, Harrington and others around these parts jump back on the bandwagon regardless of it being because of the process they so vehemently disagree with with.

I'm not saying it to be a jerk. Miller is actually one of my favorite Sabres. I have more Miller memorabilia than I know what to do with at this point. But I think that numbers get retired way too frequently around here considering that the team has yet to win a Cup.
- HonkFortheGoose

To be honest, it really should be Hasek and the French Connection. That's it.

You mean there won't be any "Sabres fans should remember the road to get here was disgraceful" articles in future years?

No, for sure... I hear ya Goose.
Miller was one of my favorites also not because of what he did on the ice but rather all his genuine charitable doings off the ice.

I agree. Lafontaine would have deserved it more had he not been concussed all the time

I disagree with the way it is "going down" also but that doesn't mean I am "off the bandwagon".

I have no problem with criticism. But with its blind and offers no other options, Its useless. Those fools will keep writing articles about the team being an embarassment and will pray to god the sabres never win the cup or that they die before they do.

Just don't understand why there is so much vitriol be spewed our way for stripping it down and following the same plan used previously by Chicago and Pittsburgh with success. Also somehow nothing is sticking to the Yotes fir doing the same thing, including trading a formerly thought of franchise dman with term. Murray did nothing yesterday that all teams not making the playoffs (not just last place teams do) in trading away UFAs for assets. Some complain about his returns. Look at who he had to move, not exactly top tier FAs.

Also very much enjoyed the Hawks fan throwing stones in here today priceless.

The funny thing the Pittsburgh's and Chicago's of the world had HORRIBLE attendance during their rebuilding process while Buffalo still has really good attendance. I won't even mention Arizona's attendance....

Yeah it does suck. I hate it too. But...

The only way of getting that generational talent these days. The scouts did a great job and Darcy/Dineen too getting the proper pieces to compliment the team. TM will only add to that (still to be seen). That 1 great player with them will help this team be better than most the youngins on this blog has seen. Those are my hopes.

I really like Varone on with Ennis. Kid motors all over and never stops. There is a reason he is the leader in Roch.

Oh I know.

I have said numerous times there is no reason Florida should have a team. They moved the arena to a place where people do not want to go. Had they not moved it might be different but its too late for that. Time for another market that wants hockey to have a shot

The problem is there's too many transplants in Florida. The people that live that that do care about hockey probably have a team in their home town they root for. Usually you see a lot of Sabres fans at both the Florida and Tampa games, but even that's down this year because of how awful the Sabres are.
