I wouldn't say a joke, but I think it's time for Wilson to step down. I like Wilson, and he's made some good (even a couple of great moves) in the past. He got guys to re-sign for below market for a lot of years and for the most part built a good (but not great) franchise. He gets panned for some moves that weren't necessarily bad on the surface, but just didn't work out.

He could I think turn things around for the Sharks - but based on his decisions and odd remarks after the epic collapse against the kings in last seasons playoffs, I just don't think that he has a real plan.

The Sharks still have a good, albeit aging core. I think if they pry open the checkbook and sign a legit top 4 offensive d-man and pick up a bottom 6 dman who's a big improvement over Hannan, move Burns back to offense, and improve the 4th line, I think the Sharks have the personnel to be a top team. Not necessarily an overly dominant team, but a solid playoff team.
