The CBA doesn't necessarily mention term when it speaks of Salary retention, does it?
Like, if we held back 2.5 of Phaneuf's salary but it was only for 2 of the 7 years, is that a thing? I did a quick search and couldn't find anything about that. |

Were paying Horton not to play for us? Seriously though, we can trade dion tomorrow if we want to pay some of the contract. If we want to pay nothing then that deal will probably not happen tomorrow but could at the draft this summer. |
