I havent looked too much into next years draft but you could probably land a centre in 2016. That way hanifin/Rielly are a year older and further in their deveopment. That would be more ideal than loading up on talent up front then waiting for D prospects to develop. You'd end up like the Oilers if you did that. - Zinner21
ya i completely agree with you on getting d first... but we do have rielly already and i think theres a few young guys in the system like finn and granberg that should help fill it out as well... but we need that big centre as well... i don't want them picking wingers though haha |

Girardi is a terrible player/contract to take back. But if it's a 1st and ducliar.. Makes it easier |

Finn has been a disaster and Grandberg projects as a 5/6 d-man at best. Leafs need a big time all around D prospect like Hanifin or Provorov. Although Strome is a great pick as well. |

I think it's Duclair, Girardi & 1st for Yandle, and Rangers just re-signed Zucs.. |

If the Yotes are going for the puke, the big question should be where is Doan going to end up? |

Finn started the year injured and played his way back into the Marlies.
Percy, Finn, gardiner, rielly, loov, valiev, etc. we have a decent d core to build around.

Awaiting details on Yandle to NYR trade (pending trade call) but ARI believed to be picking up 50 per cent of Yandle's money. |

To me Matt Finn seems like Carlo Colaiacovo 2.0 with less upside. Loov has been pretty good. But still none of these leafs D prospects are big time prospects except for Rielly. |
