If we play the Rags and Staal gets rowdy with Sid, semin could get gritty and go full catwoman on him again.

As the league continues to trend towards fewer penalties and more obstruction, Semin is not the type of player that is going to succeed. Big PASS for me.

One year maybe, but too much risk three year. He is the type of player that I think best compliments 71, but it's a gamble you just don't have to take.

Although, I could see there being some hard feelings with GMJR recently bring up Staal's name. Stirring up speculation about another team's player is not very smart IMO......especially if you'd like work with them in the future. Regardless of Old Ruth's motivation, I wasn't a fan of that...
