Coasting through that third, playing it safe, but still nice to see this team have four lines who can carry the puck and stimulate offense.

I like this team. And we have Hoff coming back to further bolster our D. I think the reports of the Penguins having no shot at the cup have been grossly exaggerated. I think we have as good a chance as anyone to come out of the East. In fact, I'd put us at #2 after the Wings. I think we have just as much fire power as the Dirty Ders and petter D and 'tending.

I would have liked to see more attention to detail. I absolutely hate the D jumping up like they do with a lead. Our neutral zone is like a 5 lane highway when it should look like the squirrel hill tunnels at rush hour.

I like the way the team looks as well. Really need to finish the games smarter, its just poor form to allow a shorty and late goal when you are in shutdown mode.

Some pretty solid moves by the Caps and Rangers have what looks to be one rough trip for whoever survives in the Metro playoffs.

I tend to think NYI will stand pat.

I don't see what the NYI would acquire. They have the forward depth and their D is good enough that justifying an overpayment for the lack luster defensemen on the market.

I dont mind it if you keep generating chances, but I think the pens started to lay up a bit for fear of blow the game out and forcing Columbus into a retaliatory mode.

I joined the Pens Die Hard group on facebook...my god, it makes this board look like a bunch of brain surgeons. I am going to need to leave that group, you can't even talk rational hockey with them. I wanted to slice my wrists earlier.

Would Semin be willing to get his hands dirty for us..? For $3.5M I'd take him if Carolina accept Sutter/Scuderi.

Look, I don't mind a good Sutter debate...but when you start telling me is an elite 3rd line center and is as good as what Staal was here, then you need to stop.

Would you trade Spaling and Sutter for Kessel with salary retained?

Adams would come back into the line up and depth would then be AHL call ups if injured.

The filter down would slot Comeau back into the 3rd line where he should be.

I mean (frank) yeah, but why would that ever happen? Like, that's not even a question. You have the option of getting Kessel, you get Kessel.

I have zero desire to see Phil Kessel in Pittsburgh. He is the ultimate Coach Killer.

Why? Because the Toronto media says so?

I don't this he is.

He isn't a 'build around' player.

He is misscast in TOR. If he is moved whoever gets him they need to have a no 1 center to get value out of him.
