Well, Nolan is crashing and burning before our eyes so, it makes sense if people bring up his tenure; and I have no idea why one person in particular is giving Darcy credit for a trade that an Assist GM/Scout doesn't pull but he does those things

The chance to have BOTH McDavid & Eichel would be worth it
Even if say Toronto won the lotto, we'd still get something like Eichel & Marner

Look at the Yandle deal. The Rangers gave up a lot for one D who I don't think has as many years left on his contract as Myers. Look at the Sekera deal, LA gave up a ch*t load for a UFA. I'll just leave it at that.

Myers was in need of a move... From day one the kid had so much on him to be a 1# dmen. He did everything he could to be that there was way to much on the kid way too soon. If anything Buffalo failed him . With the trade he must have felt a 300lbs weight was lifted off of him.

If you don't know HOW to put your players in position to succeed you will have little success but Nolan is all about everyone being compared to undrafted rookies, instead of putting the playing to his players strengths he plays to confirm his belief in his own mind.
