Laugh all you want, but I think Eller is still going to be a pretty important piece come the playoffs.

A lot of bad things can be said about Eller, effort isn't one of them. Not at all the same thing.

I really think Eller is gone by 3pm

Habs need a scoring winger, can put Galchenyuk back on C, and Eller being a young NHLer is a very good trade bait

You can just see the TSN panel excited about something that MAY happen in Toronto today. These last few years' deadline days were spent on all the speculation, eventually culminating to going live to the Leafs GM talking about all the 0 trades he made.

Kessel to MTL or Eberle to MTL in big package is making rounds among the doyen.

It's also pretty funny listening to Jeff Blair begrudgingly compliment the Montreal Canadiens on The Fan 590.

I really hope so ... De La Rose has basically stolen his spot on the team.

Can't stand Eller ... he's softer than warm butter.

If he is it's because Bergevin has done something significant.

As talented as Kessel is, his "reputation" (be it deserved or not) doesn't quite fit Bergevin and Therriens' mentality IMO.

You should be beaten with a big stick for reporting that ...

Without having any idea what the cost would be I would take him in a second. Top 10 scorer and in Mtl he's behind guys like Price, Subban and Pacioretty, I think he'd thrive in Mtl.

Therrien would have blocked the Kessel trade.
