I'd say, I was worried he'd be another Tom Gilbert but from what I'm reading and judging by how pissed off Oilers fans are about the return this could be good.

I've seen Petry quite a lot too. Not 150 times, but certainly 30-40 times. He'll be good. And yes, EDM fans have right to be pissed off.

Who does he play with? Gonchar or Beaulieu?

My guess is with Beaulieu. Gonchar with Emelin when he comes back?

I'll leave that to the coach. IMO, hard to separate Gonchar and Beaulieu.

outside of Tinordi, Pateryn and Beaulieu, there isn't much to really talk about in the pipeline, or coming up soon.

Maybe Mac Bennett, but he's playing his rookie season in the AHL and will need some time. That's the problem with college players, they get forever to get in your organisation, and except for rare occasions, they need some more seasoning in the AHL once they do, at 22-23 years old

- stinger67

Outside? All 3 guys have a legit shot of being good NHLers at least? How many more prospects do they need? Nygren is a legit prospect too.

Beaulieu's been playing with Gilbert since the Gonchar injury and that pair's been solid.
