Apparently, $5M per for 5 years was outlandish for Zuccarello, but $4.5M for 4 years is a steal for Sather?

Keith Yandle will help move the puck more or less, but they basically paid a King's ransom to soften up one of the NHL's most solid defenses and increase their turnovers per game.

If it does affect him, it could alter his speed from "slow" to "Schenn."

Best that 5th can become is a 3rd. Wow.

Great point by Kypreos re: Petry. Hard to get an amazing return for a guy who other teams/people value more than your organization does.

Essentially, EDM did a bad job selling a good asset.

I always thought Petry and Coburn were somewhat comparable.

Based on the way Schultz played once he left Edmonton, I would think Petry's game would improve.

Thats a great deal for the Habs though. They're the first to not overpay for a defenseman and they got what they needed. A defenseman with size who won't slow their team down

I hope he has one of his classic turnovers late in the 3rd period of game 7 against the Wings and it results in a goal.

His final season in New York will then be filled with ridicule
