Grossman or Schenn to a Western conference team. I think one of them goes.
I would take a 3rd. Just want the cash off the books

- 3flyerkids

That's where I am. I think Gudas can replace them, for less cash. The Flyers need to, moving forward, avoid paying premium prices for depth defensemen, you can't have a bunch of 4-5 D-men making $3.5mm or more.

I hope they don't trade Streit

- Streit2ThePoint

I'd be surpised if they did.. but if someone overpays, have to consider it.. With TImonen gone though, you need someone who can run a PP.. There has to be something of a team left to convince the STH to stay.

If they still think they have a shot at the playoffs I don't think they can afford to trade him. Right now he's our #1 defenseman

So they could retain a maximum of $1.417 million.

- Feanor

That's per season left on his deal, not total, correct?

I think Grossmann has a concussion.. Can't see him being dealt today.
- Hextall271

Grossmann stated he felt good but still had one more test i think scheduled fro today. i hope it gets done and cleared in time to trade him. You'd have to think one of them is moved with a similar player like Gudas coming in.

I think Calgary would be a good team to deal with . Gio is out and they have the room

THe two losses to Carolina and Toronto essentially ended the season IMO. I really like Streit and expect he'll stay.. I mean, someone has to mentor the Ghost!

I think the Coburn deal says this season is a wash.

Of course, Hextall could surprise us all and bring in an ace.

I think that if they're looking for Gio insurance, they'd want Streit or MDZ

Don't worry, Hexy will probably call you to make sure any trade is ok so as not to force you to change your handle..

I just wish he'd call me and ask how trading a guy effects my jersey collection..

Coburn found out about the trade from his wife, who woke up before him and heard about it.

I have a hard time moving MDZ.

He is literally what this team has been trying to find for a long long time. Young all situations d-man that has significant offensive upside.

Well, the funny thing is that here were times that the team was playing just fine without Coburn. He accounted for 1 goal for and 1 against vs the rangers haha so that's a wash as well.

Yep. He was just on the phone with TradeCenter on NHLN.
