Yeah.. I am shocked that we got so much back for Coburn, but it seems everyone is overpaying for dmen. Now we've got two 1sts in this deep draft.. If Hexy can work on clearing more cap space, we'll be in a good spot. Gudas is younger than I thought. Anyone know his salary and how many more years on the deal?

Either trade him or send him down and try to fix him, but I hope that today is a day where Hextall acknowledges that you have other options than just running him out there with no improvement or scratching him

Yeah, I read that he was injured.. even so, I'd trade both Grossmann and Luke for the right price and then just call up manning and ride out the year..

I am still shocked at that haul for Coburn.. Gudas is a solid guy in his own right.. then you add the 1st and 3rd in a deep draft all for a guy who's been hurt a lot this year and has played poorly? He must not have been watching.

At the very least, Gudas is signed for low cash next year. I think he is another third pair guy, but he's making under $1mm. He's not a third pair guy eating up $3.5mm or more of their cap room.

Yep. Want to see some cap room cleared for next season, so Hextall has money to fill holes.

With his game the way it is, I honestly don't know. Defensemen prices are clearly inflated

Schenn...man, he just needs to get his game fixed, if that's possible, and you can't do that at the NHL level with where it is right now

He has regressed so much, you just have to try to salvage his career. I truly would try to send him down

I liked Gudas what little I saw of him. He played like a mean SOB, and that's what we need on this blueline . Just not sure when or if he comes back this year
