I was getting my physical a while back and there was a mother crying as her baby was wailing from getting its vaccinations. I'm sure she hated herself for putting the child through a terrifying ordeal, but at the end of the day the sun set and it was all for the best as the child is now better off.

It may not be the same, but it may ease your spiritual wounds

I see what you're saying. I'm actually amused right now. Thanks!

I'd just like to point out I said all offseason that the goaltending wasn't going to be the tire fire most others thought it was going to be.

I know. There was a small group of us. And right now I hate both Enroth and Neuvirth.

What core would you rather have??

Kane
Reinhart
Strome (probably)
Girgensons
Risto
Zadorov
Bogo/pysk

Huberdue
Bjustad
Barkov
Gudbranson
ekblad
Kulikov

Pretty close talent wise. unless we get a mcheichel we will be a similar team I think.

- Fattony1187

There are some other kids that I think will sure up the 3rd and 4th lines nicely like Varone, he may not be Malkin, but I like his energy he has decent playing skills. I think with the possibility of McEchiel, this team has a lot of pieces in place, granted that many more need to come together, but don't forget we also have a nice amount of money to play with as well

End of 2 Periods, Being outshot 30-10 Whoever gets "The NeuVirth Wall" will be very satisfied. Murray is holding his cards and many GMs are nudging elbows at the table. Even some new squeezing in towards Monday! Love it!

Chris Stewart= Could there be a better POWER-Forward with a hot-streak going on over 2months? He will drop-em and handle things in the Playoffs and stretch run!

Micheal NeuVirth= Best Goalie on the Market with teams like Vancouver/Boston/NY

Our Defense offerings aren't much but could net a 3rd or maybe a 2nd for Benoit
,Mez,and we'll throw in Nikida if you through in a 1st This year plus a prospect!

There is really nothing lower than this feeling. At this point I want a top two just so I don't have to hear buffalo fans obsessing about the careers of McEichel.

Since I'm a Panthers fan right now, I'll pick them.

Even if we get one of them, there will be plenty around here who will point out what the other has done.

My translation would be: If you're a UFA you're out the door for whatever I can get. If you really want to come back, we;ll welcome you back with open arms in the offseason, but you're not walking for nothing, especially since you've destroyed our tank. I'd put out an ad that said "all UFAs, make an offer and your have em"

I really like Bjugstad. Glad to see he's doing well. I've liked him since the WJC a few years ago.

One painful step at a time. As it is too many are assuming a Cup is in the near future.

I like your train of thought and I agree, it would be great to get one of the Two, but there will be 28 teams that don't.

Also, IF one of them is SIDNEY CROSBY, (I doubt) then they will LED THE NHL in SCORING THEIR ROOKIE YEAR! Highly doubt it! Then they get MALKIN!

Amazing, and they were very good at getting HIGH END VETS to want to play for them over the past run of glory. All said so far, great run, 1 Stanley Cup! My point is that even if we were to get BOTH and they ended up as GOOD as CROSBY AND MALKIN its not a Yellow Brick Road to the Stanley Cup!

Not happening with me. I root for the CREST on front and the players wearing a Sabres Sweater - that's who I'm rooting for with ease. Good luck to every player, I'm not the type to live in the past.

He's got a lot better. I like our bottom 6 more than there's prob will be but they really picked a lot of high end talent the last couple years

I think if Reinhart stays on the dot, he will be a poor man's Thornton point wise, with a few more goals

Ovechkin might have him beat by the time he's finished.

Considering the poor man's version of 96 assists is still pretty damn impressive I'll take that.

Ovi could smash that record and put up close to 400 if he stays in the NHL on a descent team for the next 10 years
