Yea which one of these scotuing reports says any of that:

Reinhart is a game-changer. His hockey IQ is through the roof and can break down the game at an elite level. Being an older player in the WHL has given him three years of playing time with the Kootenay Ice. He’s as close to NHL ready as anyone in the draft and his skills just bolster that.

An elite talent who is battling to be the 1st overall selection, Reinhart has improved each year in the WHL, recording 105 points this season. He’s a premier set-up center who can also play the wing when needed. A great face-off man, Reinhart shows maturity with the puck well beyond his years. He controls the pace of the game and makes it easy to get by defensemen with his quick hands and dynamic skating.

Sam Reinhart has few issues with his game, if any.

Reinhart is a nice blend of poise, maturity and a high hockey IQ. He’s got creative hands, excellent vision and superb instinct in the offensive end. He’s able to slow things down and dissect the play. He battles hard and is a true team leader

Read Cody hodgson scouting report if you think those mean a crap. "Fast skater who gets into open ice fast because of his quick stride. Smart two way player who can be used in all situations. Dangerous on PK and worries opposing coaches on how to shut him down. Can score from anywhere on the ice. He is a game changer. Hockey prospect.com"

Yes that is exactly CoHo. I actually think they undersold him. We should be ok. With him as our bonified for sure #1 Reinhart can just develop in his own time as our #2

We should just trade Reinhart since you have already written him off from being anything that this team can count on.

The guy is obviously not going to mount to anything. I think we should follow the Boston model. I mean after all its not like Seguin is doing anything.

1) Even though I want to slit my wrists right now this thing isn't over.

2) If it doesn't go well we don't have to throw all of our eggs in the Reinhart basket. I don't know what his ceiling is but there is no reason to think that he won't be a special players.

3) Trying to project his worth based on scouting reports of bad players is completely pointless

Not once did I or anyone say we can't count on him. All I said was putting him as our #1 without a mcheichel or other top center will lead to us having a lot longer rebuild and harder time to build a cup winner. i like Reinhart. A lot actually. He is better suited as a #2. You want him as our number one we have Prob five more years of building around him before we are a contender then.

we should do a head count.

I actually did jump off but with the Bills/Sabres luck on my side I landed between two ice chunks and floated safely down the falls and was fished out near the Fort where two Yotes fans (the only 2?) drove me right back to my miserable life.

Says who?

This is purely your own opinion, and if history shows me anything, it is way off.

If the Rangers receive even iffy news on the return of Henrik, I think that would be the perfect place for Neuvirth to go.

Nobody knows if he is "better suited" to be a 1 or 2. His ceiling could very well be a Kopitar/Bergeron type.

And you have your opinion. his scouting report if you want to go on it is almost identical to Ryan nugent Hopkins. Sure he's a #1 center too. would be a lot better and would see way better point totals if Edmonton had a guy in front of him playing the harder minutes

We now have teams that are physically unable to get themselves ready to play us.

He is a Patrice Bergeron clone IMO. Not as great of a skater, but a better playmaker.

They think the game alike and make similar smart defensive plays.

Does anyone have any interest in Lupul? Let's say we pay with NYI 2nd. Would you say yes?

Hopkins is 21 years old playing on one of Edmonton. To use him as an example is a little far off. Edmonton is a mess.

Putting Hopkins on a different team, you would see better numbers from him (IMO)

Not interested if they gave him to us for free. I'd consider him only in a swap for Hodgson.

My gut says we see a trade today.

Don't want the trade chips playing in Saturdays game risking injury.

Bumps own quote....

Sounds like Murray has a deal in place for Stewart, just waiting to see if he can get anything better.

Well.. Lupul.. doesn't suck, but he's the glass man. When he's on the ice he's actually reasonably effective.

Chicago IMO, Stan said yesterday he had something in place and was waiting as well.
