His money is worth less than German Marks in 1923.

IMO, really no reason to scratch Stewart or any player, the scouts have seen them and know what they can do, but what do I know.

No one wants us to lose the shot at McEichel, but not getting one of them is not the end of the world! So please don't jump off your roof. Not having either the #1 or #2 picks still allows us to get a good to great player. 3 thru 19 is still stacked with exceptional talent or TM can move the pick for a pick+prospect and player that can help NOW!! I trust in his ability and moving down could get a player like ROR or others. Again I am NOT against the "tank" but before the likes of Stewart, Neuvirth and others are moved Monday, consideration must be given to the likelihood that you can resign them as free agents or sign them as valuable pieces to the future and let the season play out. TM has to also weigh the readiness of McEichel and contributions they make to next year. No guarantee they are ready or if Eichel will leave school. I'm sure TM has thought this through but sometimes fans may need to consider this as well. I want a generational talent, but if not I trust TM.

You could be right it's hard to say, he will hold out unless it's something he really likes.

Getting something close to a first would mean that we really got a solid return for Miller and Ott. It would have been legendary return if the Blues didn't poop on the bed.

I think it's like top 3, then 4,5,6, then like 7-20, then cliff.

Nobody disagrees with this. The issue is that it makes it a TON easier to win cups if you have a generational player or two.

IMO besides risking an injury, the scouts have seen what they want from any player that is on the block from any team, why scratch them

Agree, but some may not think that and tie TM success to getting these picks. Personally don't find that true

I just hope this doesn't F with his head... Kids really good and will probably be the most underrated D on this team in a couple years when we are winning.

Why dress them? In Stewart we have a potential #1 draft pick riding on him getting through the game.

It won't. He knows the score. It's a tanking team that had to play along with the nhl's poopty rules on who can go to the AHL vs. Jr. He'll be full time nhl'er come September.

He has to know the score. He has a few more bus rides and then he is in the show.
