He has value, but not any of our bluechip prospects in Duclair, Buchnevich, or Skjei. Duclair has a ceiling of a PPG winger, Buchnevich has the ceiling of a perennial 30 goal scorer, and Skjei has the ceiling of a top pairing shutdown defenseman. Doubtful all 3, or any of them, reach those ceilings but if they even reach 75% of their potential, they're all better and more valuable than Bozak at his best.

The Clarkson trade...props to Nonis. Didn't think he would ever be able to get rid of that contract. You guys will just bury Clarkson on LTIR for the remainder of his deal Philly-Pronger-style while Columbus, a team that doesn't have a lot of money to spend on players, will at least pay Clarkson that money to play rather than pay Horton to sit at home.

Brassard has 11 more points in 2 less games than Bozak this year BTW and isn't playing with the best 40 goal scoring winger to never score 40 goals.

He was a steal of a third round pick. Him, Duclair, and even Tambellini are all studs right now. Our 2nd round draft choice last year is a goaltender who is currently 34-4-2 in the CHL or some poop like that. Rangers suck at drafting in the 1st round but are money outside it.

Brassard had been an underachiever his entire career until coming to NY. I know you won't believe it, but ever since he came to NY he's developed, even at his older "veteran" age, more than he ever had in his multiple years in Columbus. Something clicked for the guy and he's a very good top 6 center for us now.
