any player on the team with less hits than Nazem should take a look in the mirror...except 1 nut Phil...don't want him to chance losing the last one. - Garnie

How bout we don't trade Kessel for trash?? How bout we don't trade young assets while in a rebuild?? - burn
Gauthier isn't looking so bad they way things are going. Leave him alone for now...I agree. |

He keeps McLaren and Orr out of the lineup.. - TonkaPhaneuf
it's been a real positive having them out, I still think we could have had McLaren cruising around out there...Orr...meh, I believe he's had his 15 minutes |

Neither of them can. They looked horrible on the Marlies when they played. They'll be the muscle on a Senior A team soon enough. - Woderwick
But they should be on the leafs. |

I wasn't saying that just saying he's not the biggest but is top 9 on the team in hits. |

Yeah cause Burke thought Macarthur/Grabo and Kulemin were the lynchpins to winning a cup.
- Aaron_85
they were a top 5 line the one year
then randy had his way with them and they were mediocre at best. |

Booth was destined to just fill that 4th line wing spot. Would like to see him get some time up the lineup just for showcasing reasons. If you get a 6th then take it. - iTOLDu

You think we'd be worse...or if so...that's a bad thing?
I would have brought up all the grit I could have once we decided to fold. |

Till the end of the year...might work. Play them 12+ minutes a game. |

boston may give a 10th rounder for him. for krejci injury..probably not though - clark_griswold
I think you might be able to get a pick out of Chiarelli for Jokinen... something like Jokinen and Pens 2nd in 2016 for Boston's 2nd in 2015 (not sure if the Bruins even still have that pick)
just thinking that the Pens will likely finish ahead of the Bruins and it doesn't look like the Bruins would make much noise in the playoffs... so the choice would likely be a bit better. |

Ryan Rupert is quietly putting up a nice AHL year, considering at one point he was in the ECHL 10g (on 50 something shots) and 10a in 35 games +16
couple of scraps, worth taking a look at him in camp next year over Carrick for bottom of the line up |

Hey Burn....know what the most pathetic thing is? How bad is our team when we are arguing who's a better fit: colton orr or david booth |

Booth for a conditional 7th rd pick.. Condition being that the team taing on Booth needs to play near a heavily wooded area, due to the recent increase in bear related attacks |

Rich Parent: February 13, 1999
Al MacInnis played 23 NHL seasons, and even before the Nova Scotia-born defenseman became a Hall of Fame candidate, he was known and feared for consistently delivering the NHL’s hardest slapshot at close to 100 mph. Apparently he didn’t ease up too much against his own teammates, either. With the St. Louis Blues, MacInnis unleashed a drive that hit goalie Rich Parent in precisely the wrong place during the warm-up prior to a game versus Edmonton. Parent underwent emergency surgery after suffering a “scrotal contusion and ruptured testicle.” He missed 11 games. |

I don't think we will get the return on Kessel that everyone wants. Hertl will be an established 2C next year. Kadri will take over 1C duties with Holland at 3C. Once our pick (Strome ) is ready. Send Hertl and Holland away for a nice return. - iTOLDu
Hertl's number far from impressive this year.....
We will most certainly get a better return than this (let alone adding Bernier and Gauthier). |
