Any living thing can do that. But generally if a dog is violent, it's the way it was raised. Properly raised German Shepherds are as calm as can be. My jack Russell and my parent's husky are far more terrifying than she ever was.

True...I will agree with that. But I still think there is an element to bringing up these aggressive breeds that mitigate the risk of them lashing out or attacking anyone.
