That's the owner, not the dog.

Grew up with one, had to put her down a few years ago. Cried like a baby.

That an excuse people use, dogs or any animal can turn on people at any time without warning or provocation. Do you blame all people that kill on the parents?

Here's a question: if the Leafs move at least Phaneuf and either Lupul or Bozak, either now or in the summer, is there really a need to then move Kessel?

I mean, we'd have like $10-15m in cap space even after signing Kads and Bernier to reasonable deals after all that and that's even counting bringing up a bunch of youth or small 1 year deals to fill out the roster.

Do we really need to go lower than that now?

- mcleafs

If the leafs move phaneuf and Bozak, I doubt the move Lupul or Kessel.

mine was white...and (frank)ing awesome...so much so that the U of G wanted him for a research project

It's the owners that can be vile and you know it...regardless of breed

- jimi james

This is one of the most accurate statements I have seen on this site. The only breed I think this does not apply to is Jack Russel terriers...those dogs are just tapped for the most part.

At least that's my experience and I've known their owners for years.

The damndest thing happened.

i woke up this morning and Clarkson had still been traded. It wasn't a dream after all!

What was a dream was I dreamt that Kessel got moved to Minnesota for a 1st, two top prospects (I don't know any Wild prospects so I think my brain just made up some bullpoop) and a 2nd rounder next year or something like that.

I was a trifle disappointed.

So, waking up was actually a pretty good time this morning

This is true to some extent. But it's not the entire story.

Unless an animal has something wrong with them, most dont attack unless provoked.

if my golden retriever turns on anyone or anything id be blown away, shes the most well behaved dog ive ever had or been in contact with.

jake just rides her around, pulls her hair, bites her and all she ever does is lick him and take it its pretty funny

but lou, you are right, MANY type of dogs can turn; depends on the breed i feel and of course the owners/how they treat the dog growing up.

they are an animal after all.

I have to respectfully disagree...just my opinion though. I generally believe in nurture vs. nature. There are of course some statistical outliers, but as a general rule of thumb that's what I believe.

Well the thing is now it's not QUITE so critical to get cap relief. So other GMs cant hold a gun to our heads (at least not as badly) for our players with term.

It creates less urgency to make the deals, and thus we can hold out for best returns.

But the bottom line is that these players as a core group have failed monumentally, outdoing their own pooptiness for the last 4 years straight. They have to go for that reason alone.

While your statement is accurate for the most part, certain breeds are more predisposed to attacking than others.
