Only way to stop Neurvith from playing, is to trade him. Nolan doesn't get it
- SABRES 89

If he can play like that always, then keeping him would be a good idea, but there's no reason not to get others goalies some net time. Doesn't Hacket have to start 7 games to make UFA anyway? so it would be wise to get him in there for that reason alone

Best shift I've seen Larsson play in his whole career as a Sabre

Edit: may be the first time I've ever really noticed him on the ice.

I agree with you 100%, Lindback should have played already even with that back to back last week.

Philip Varone looked pretty good in those first minutes. I read that he was doing rather well with the amerks, good energy

Agree. ...I like Phil. He's brought that in all his call ups IMO. Always had good jump and energy. I've just never noticed Larsson like that before. He appears to be feeding off of Varone.

That was some nice effort to keep it in the zone. I see that from some of our kids and it's that extra effort that can be the difference between a win or loss

Agreed. ..A little extra effort and desperation lead directly to that Nucks goal.

How many talks does he need to have with the Coach or GM ?MacKinnon from the AVS is 19, he doesn't have these problems, no excuse for Big Z this is the NHL not a day care.
- SABRES 89

??These problems??

He was late ONCE

He missed his plane ONCE

He was disciplined for not being prepared/having a backup plane

What problem do you see? You one of those the exception is the rule guy?

Sometimes playing with a particular play changes your game. Moulson is that type of guy. I suspect with McEchiel, someone will be able to compliment matty and he will play much much better, as he has a sound hockey mind, just not hitting his groove

Nice work to get the turnover, I think the main reason we've been playign so well is purly hard work. The young kids have energy and are essentially justifying why they deserve a roseter spot so they put forth a little more effort .

Just waiting for the yotes "Gary Bettman give you the 1st pick" mandatory meltdown any minute

I originally accepted we won't get McDavid because we'd lose the draft lottery. I'm now beginning to accept that we will have to reach for a forward at #3. Failing at securing one of McEichel is unforgivable.

might as well start accepting. This team refuses to play by our rules

I think there's more to it than that. TM mentioned about working out half assed as well.

There's something about the teams we've played as of late, none of them play sound hockey. They all look tired, slow, make bad decisions. I wouldn't mind winning if we actually beat goliath, but instead we've been capitalizing on piss poor play from all these teams

Nucks are trying to play fancy with one or two extra moves, which has lead to many turnovers or knocked pucks and only have 14 shots, a bunch of them very savable shots so yeah ugly to say the least like that shot at the 19:30 mark, you kept it in the zone for 10 seconds and took a below average wrister right into the chest pad of Neuvirth?

They need to win for everyone's sake. I could honestly see them going on a 20 game losing streak if they keep their play up and especially after selling at the deadline, it's only going to get worse
