Even if that's true it's a guy Darcy trusted for the most part as he's said.

Not that I want Darcy back, at all.... but most of the core of this team going forward outside of McEichel/Reinhart and Kane will probably be from Darcy's tenure

- sbroads24

Please stop!
You all have to admit I have been a good boy on here of late, but please stop with what DARCY did or what he left! He had 15 years to build/tear down and NEVER had the balls to make that "take a chance type of deal" to push this team over the top (see Evander Kane deal).

Because TM traded your boy, you need to let it go!

Could be just bad timing or the circumstances. Look at our other Loopy inn. He may never play again. That sucks. Hacketts been in and out. Plays like out.

Hackett has been doing ok for Rochester. Especially when you consider he just missed a poopload of time due to needing reconstructive knee surgery. He's 5-4, 2.79 GAA .904 sv%. The team in front of him isn't all that spectacular either.

He held on to that mediocre core with bated breath for years, drafted like crap for years, had two good years I'll give him credit for. Said Connolly and Roy were top 20 centers in the league, tossed 2nd round picks for Raffi Torres, Dominic Moore etc.

When did you become one of Darcy's two fans. I know of another one.

- GilPerreault11

I don't think thats being a fan. Darcy did a very good job selling off and tanking. He also drafted well the prior two years to being fired. That said he couldn't build a good enough team and he didn't take risks

A source tells Jon Heyman of CBS Sports that Josh Hamilton relapsed a few months back involving "at least cocaine."
Heyman says Hamilton turned himself in and that, if true, he would be put in a drug program as a first-time offender. Without a positive test, it's unclear how MLB could suspend Hamilton for the incident. Reports were that the 33-year-old had a meeting with MLB Wednesday to discuss what happened. More should be known shortly.

Damn it, I like that guy.

Im not. But he was known for scraping together mediocre teams that finished 7th-11th. Not last. Being 30th was his plan too

He's lurking but I think taking a break. Speculation.

You see that save by Hackett in the first? Was a sick post to post dive to save an open net shot. He really does have supreme athleticism.

I miss capgeek. I suppose I could use the Cap part of the site on here, but it's just not the same.

Nhlnumbers.com is decent... Not as good as CapGeek, but it's ok

Sign Neuvirth and Dubnyk to 3 year deals. Trade for Subban. Ullmark and Subban develop in Rochester.

He did get it started .
He did some good things but never great things with the team. I don't want to wait another bunch of years on his idea.
Time for a change.

He was finally tearing it down. Then was fired.

Trust me, I wanted him and Lindy gone 5 years ago. But he was fired for tanking.

This isn't be sticking up for him, it's just the facts

Yeah. I turned it off after that. My roommate didn't seem too keen on watching minor league hockey. She just doesn't understand!

I think the knee injury might have been a good thing, as weird as that sounds. Gave him a chance to go back to the basics in his rehab. Sometimes guys start trying to do too much and it hurts them more than it helps them.

It would be helpful if Bagnall was in there, but he's missed like half the season. That alone hurts Rochester big time.

Just seems a lot harder to navigate. Capgeek was full of info, but was still straight and to the point. It's a shame the founder got sick. Hopefully things get better for him.

Capgeek had any stat combo you could think of.
If NHL.com could incorporate capgeek with their new anilitics program, It would be over the top.

Well, two years of drafting out of a lot of less than stellar was not impressive. He had some ups and downs and a of lot of the trades were less than risky. For years the Drury trade, facilitated by Quinn mind you, was the biggest trade he had made. He wasn't very imaginative in his deals or as you stated willing to take risks. So why TM is getting attacked after only one year is perplexing, except he traded Myers and that is why. But to each his own, free country and all that.

He was fired cause he had a chance to build a team and failed. They werent going to let him try to build another.
