Would you do Stewart our 2nd (15) for Subban and Eriksson. We have to eat 1/2 of Stewarts celery.
- evatnorth

I'd try to get bostons 1st next year. That could be a very valuable pick

and they are 30th in the league, makes sense
- GilPerreault11

You know this was Darcy's doing too right?

He was the one that traded Pominville/Vanek and never signed anyone to play center in 2013. He also put Rolston behind the bench. He was essentially fired for tanking

Lets say we get Bostons first and they magically win the cup is that a pick we can give to Winnipeg .

Tearing something down isn't nearly as difficult as rebuilding it though.

He did get some decent pieces for Murray to build with, though I wonder how much of the drafting came from him or Devine. Methinks Devine had much more to do with the draft than Darcy did.

I sure would. It gives us a nice goalie prospect for the future and a top6 winger now. The bruins get Stewart who they want and a pretty good pick. And they get cap relief for next year.

This is about a half mile north of Mickey Rat's. We have a cottage for the first 2 weeks of July every year. The cottage is pretty much a dump, but I'm there for the beach.
- HonkFortheGoose

My family gets a cottage every year just after the 4th on sunset. Last time I went (2010), my aunt's friend got up in the middle of the night and stumbled out of the cottage. She went outside and came back like half an hour later. This was at like 4/5am when it was still dark.

Next morning, everyone's outside and a young cousin of mine (its a big, Roman Catholic Irish/German family on my step-father's side) says to someone that there's poop in a folding chair near the fire pit.

Lo and behold, there was a massive dump in one of those coleman folding chairs with the cup holder.

Naturally, my aunt blamed me since I'm the "(frank)-up" (in a Roman Catholic family!).

I haven't talked to her since or gone back. She went around telling the whole family I crapped in her chair.

Me and my sister put 1 and 1 together at some point and laughed our asses off when we realized it was her friend.

I've been saying all year he should be here. He got screwed by getting hurt in training camp. The Zadorov thing ended up not giving them the space to bring him up.

I guess they could have waived Strachan, but I don't think they wanted him sitting for long stretches like Strachan has done.

Even if that's true it's a guy Darcy trusted for the most part as he's said.

Not that I want Darcy back, at all.... but most of the core of this team going forward outside of McEichel/Reinhart and Kane will probably be from Darcy's tenure

Enroth is gone, let him stay gone.
- SABRES 89

If we don't get some one ready to start now, like Bernier, Allen, etc... And we end up with someone like Subban or Fucale, or whoever...
Then I'm ok bring back Enroth or Neuvirth as a "placeholder" for a couple years

Very true. It seems Murray likes him too, seeing as how he's still here.

Risto and Zadorov have Devine written all over them. The draft day video shows that. I think that's part of why Murray has kept him around.

I'm concerned about Neuvirth's health. He seems to be oft-injured. As a matter of fact, he's about due for an injury right now.

Could be just bad timing or the circumstances. Look at our other Loopy inn. He may never play again. That sucks. Hacketts been in and out. Plays like out.

He held on to that mediocre core with bated breath for years, drafted like crap for years, had two good years I'll give him credit for. Said Connolly and Roy were top 20 centers in the league, tossed 2nd round picks for Raffi Torres, Dominic Moore etc.

When did you become one of Darcy's two fans. I know of another one.

I agree, it should be about 25 more games.
