Is CAR really that bad a team? GA/G better than a lot of current PO teams, PK is awesome... possession-wise, they're a bit better than the Flyers. I'm thinking if they could shoot just a hair better than 6-7%, they'd be close to a PO spot.

They're not a pushover for sure, but the Flyers aren't matching their effort. Every puck up for grabs there are two Canes to one Flyer.

It's easy to make quick plays when there is no pressure on you. Canes have all day to make plays.

I know, it's not a shock, but JFC -- it's not like the Hurricanes are the only team that plays this way.

There are ebbs and flows to the season son. All that matters after 82 games who is in the playoffs and who is not.

You should get a beer for yourself and check back in around April 10th or so. You're going to have a coronary if you can't start seeing the future.
