I'm not trying to troll I love the habs, what would you think would be fair value, I doubt yaks will be a bust
- Forsberg4Prez

I honestly don't know. I have no problem with the Habs trading a few good picks if the return is not a rental or an old guy.

Right now, NB is actually more important to this team than the picks.
- hscesq

Yea that's kind of what I was thinking with all the injuries but it's not like your 1st overall picks will be any lower than 25 this year and probably the same next year. I'm fairly confident that if the oilers trade him it'll kick them in the ass for years to come

I hear ya but I definitely think yaks could be a perennial 30+ goal scored for years to come, patches-galy-yak

Constantly declining numbers and worse +/- in the league.

Can they get kicked any lower? That may sound like I am trolling, and I am....cuz I can...but I mean it sincerely as well.

Thing is yaks wouldn't be a rental, he's an RFA who can't necessarily demand a lot this comin off season, it could pay huge dividends

Would you guys part with beaulieu, this years 1st and next years for yakupov... Seems a high price to pay but reuniting him with galley could be huge. I don't even want to part with him but I wouldn't be that upset considering habs are my #2 team

Thing is, Beaulieu is a stud D.

I wouldn't trade them one for one.

Too much. The Habs can't afford to lose Beaulieu. But Yakupov would be nice. Could work something out with Tinordi instead.

since Yakupov was a first overall pick who isn't Sidney Crosby it means for most that he automatically sucks even though he's 21 and has been playing for a tire fire that had arguably the worst coach in NHL history short of Mario Tremblay.

also you're arguing with WaterBoy. You've been warned.

Meh Beaulieu is the only potential top 4 D in the system.

A smallish, inconsistant one-dimensionnal player like Yakupov...

Lol Kevin Lowe can blow me. Peter forsberg is who my name refers to. Either way it'll never happen, oil won't part with yaks unless it's too late and he's considered a bust or if they get an overpayment
