At first glance it seems like a fair trade for both teams as it addresses specific needs for both teams.

For the Habs, DSP could be very useful in the playoffs because of the physical aspect of his game.

I will trust Bergevin's judgment call on this one.

Yea don't we have similar players to Sekac. Hudon maybe? He was bigger but not physical.

I think that he would have been fine if we had bigger centres...can't get bigger at C so need to beef up the wings a bit.

For some reason De La Rose reminds me of Sekac ... but De La Rose has more upside.

Sekac was thus expendable.
