Hey Elbows...I have to admit it took me a minute to figure out your latest avatar...
Deputy Droop Along...ah the memories...

Interesting game tomorrow night with Dale's boys here. I guess we'll see what happens...

Droops is my fav. Needed something different. Used to talk to my sis in his voice all the time when we were kids. It used to crack her up.

You can go against the stream all you want but its been determined he is done. Of course, playing with likes of weeble-wobble Bickell, Smith and Kruger is sure to break him out of his slump any day now.
- Elbows15

Done as in career is done or do you mean done as a Blackhawk? I think the latter is more certain.

I'm just saying whatever injury he had seems to be at a low ebb now, because he got a lot on a few of his shots recently, and it's been so long since I saw that from him. I have a hard time believing he is done in the NHL. He had 78 points last year. I find it hard to believe skills just fall off that quickly absent injury reasons. He's certainly not ancient yet.

Regardless, I don't think the resurgence, if there is to be one, is going to happen here. Not on the bottom 6, like you said here. I'd like to think we agree more than we disagree on this. There's little doubt in my mind that the best move for all involved is to trade him this week.

Seem like a lot to go through just because an opinion is disagree Its the internet. Why would someone take it that seriously. Its just your opinion. People are going to either like or not like it. Who cares.

And published on Twitter and endlessly mocked? Seems...welcoming.

simply, Rob. It means you have the best hiding spot in a game of hide and seek. And never share it with anyone.

I still have a flip phone, spin "records" on my "turntable", and use a single blade razor.

Some would call me a luddite...

...and some guys here would call me other things.

We do agree. If you look at his production when playing with actual top 6 players, he is almost exactly at his career average.

Sharp is not a player who can succeed with guys who aren't exactly known for their assist levels.

I was being facetious. Is he struggling in this role. Sure. He is probably the worst top 6 forward to even have a chance to succeed in this role. Sharp is a shooter. He isn't really a playmaker.

By no means do I think he is sone as a player. Nor do I think he is done as Hawk. For this season, anyway.

What can I tell you? Its a whole new world. If you don't want your opinion ridiculed or mocked, I would suggest not posting it on an open public forum. Once you do that its pretty much fair game.

There's that. But the "ridiculing" and "mocking" doesn't belong in here.

Welcome to the internet. Don't want to be mocked, don't post on a public message board. And lbr that particular trade that was screencapped was silly and was dismissed here as well, as it should have been. People here don't need to be ~rude, but you can't control anyone outside. It's nbd.

Hockey fandom isn't even that cutthroat, man - pick any major tween fandom, go on tumblr, and see the bloodbaths of emotions. The horror stories from those are cray.

JFC. There is something called progress, Rob. Though for you, the 80's might be a good place to start. Too much too soon and it will leave you mumbling in the streets.

Thanks for clarifying. Sometimes I'm slow like that with online interpretation. He did have the 4 assists in Anaheim, one of those nights that made me scratch my head. Otherwise, yes, his job here has always been to finish plays, not start them. Seeing him babysit the bottom 6 is painful to watch, kind of parallel to Handzus centering Kane last year.

It's a childish move regardless of how you want to spin it. If the guy posted that on that thread and that guy wants to mock him....fine. he didn't. He posted it here. Maybe that "blogger" should post here and disagree with it.

Or maybe he does already.....

That is about as good of an analogy as any I can think of. He got four assist because he is a pretty dang good player.

My last comment because it is getting way off topic. They are easy enough to find if you wish to mock their opinions. In fact, a few of them even use their real names.

They are perceptive enough to know that once you put your opinion out there, its open to be accepted or mocked as the case may be.

I will tell you for a fact, None of them post here. Take it for what you want. I am related to one of them.

I know you are. I know Sam and Matt at CI pretty good. They speak positive of CTA. I just thought it was a cheap shot. That's all.

Anyone think Zus's agent was montitoring the chaos here and thought.. good idea to throw a hook out there and see if Stan bites. I could totally see Bowman giving 26 another whirl.

And does the Raanta move to Rockford signal he is gonna get packaged up in a deal?!? With 27 going down, Bowman has no choice at this point. He needs to find some D help and find it quick.
